This is genius! Truly, less is more. This recipe is the essence of simplicity, and it is delicious! I adore sushi, but can't afford it as much as I would like. I find that this recipe satisfies my craving quite nicely. Even my avocado hating husband likes them served like this. THANK YOU Rita!

It was very easy to make, but I felt the soy sauce overpowered the avocado. Next time I would try low sodium soy sauce.

10 yrs ago a friend of mine in Dallas grabbed my attention with a variation ... he sprinkled the exposed area of the avocado lightly w/seasoning salt & filled the center with balsamic vinegar. There was never never enough avocado in the grocery store after that! Yum!

Loved it ! Used low sodium soy, but d/h felt full flavor soy would have been best. Will make again and again
