A nice treat for hot summer days, without the cost! Can be made with or without the chocolate syrup. For a change, substitute vanilla ice cream for the sugar and ice . Got this from a friend, who got it from a copy-cat cookbook.

This was good, and I liked it, but was not near as good as Starbucks. I think a next time I'll use less milk, even stronger coffee and more flavoring (I used caramel instead of chocolate). I added in a bit of International Flavor coffees Swiss Mocha for the chocolatey flavoring. Like I said - it was good and is a good base to start from. Thanks for posting! OMG! This is just awesome! WOW! I made it with vanilla bean ice cream as a substitute for the milk & sugar. (It's 98 humid degrees here and I needed some ice cream in my system...) I must say that this is quite possible the very best frappachino I have ever tasted! Thank you for posting this, RaCa! YUM!

This was one of the recipes used for the nonalcoholic "bar" at our corporate summer picnic this year! It was very popular, and got rave reviews. We used 1/2 the sugar and 1/2 the chocolate syrup the recipe calls for and it seemed perfect. I have also made this with Splenda and low sugar chocolate syrup and it comes out great. We top it with toasted coconut when I make them at home and boy is that yummy! I am going to try the ice cream (or ice milk) as suggested next time! Thanks for a great summer drink!
