I found this recipe when trying to get rid of some wild plums a neighbor gave me. I cheated and used 2 ready-made crusts (one for top and one for crust) but did everything else exactly the same way. I also froze the pie and thawed it out and cooked as directed. It was wonderful!!!

Everyone at work loved this pie. I made two and maybe will make one more tonight. I had a little trouble getting the crust to roll out and ended up just pressing it into the pie plates, but it tasted great, pressed crust and all. Also - weigh the plums. My 10 plums weighed 2 pounds.
