These were a staple in college. Never had a boyfriend who didn't like them (not like a male college student is a hard sell for homemade cookies!)

SERVES 18 , 6 dozen (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Cream margarine and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and finally add 1/2 M&M's.
  2. 2
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet placing remaining M&M's on top of each cookie.
  3. 3
Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or lightly browned.
  4. 4
Can make frozen balls of dough to take out and bake as needed.

I made these this afternoon and Figured out something very interesting about them. I only had one clean air-bake cookie sheet and one regular cookie sheet. The cookies on the airbake sheet were very thin and runny and the ones on the regular cookie sheet are perfect. Lesson learned~Dont use the airbake sheets for this recipe.

These were great! I used peanut-centred M&Ms which were a bit too chunky but still good. The cookies had a great texture and flavour, however if I were to make them again I would reduce the amount of sugar in them as I found them a bit too sweet. Thanks homegirl!

Very easy and delish! Went over great at work. I was a little concerned about some negative reviews but they turned out just GREAT! Not too flat, very tasty & just the right crispy chewy combo. I did make them smallish-and I think that if I made them bigger they would have seemed "flat". I will definitely make these again.
