    Wonderful--just the right sweet/tart ratio, a lovely texture. I did use simple syrup instead of corn syrup, but I don't believe this altered the result. And I did, with a portion of this, add in some of PaulaG's strawberry Balsamic Sorbet for a truly elegant version of this lovely cocktail. Thanks, Ellie!

    This is a nice summer drink, but the taste was a little strong for me. It wasn't that there was too much alcohol, it just didn't have the gentle, sweet, fruity flavor I've come to expect from a daquiri. I do love the idea, so I might make it again and try tweaking the amounts to my taste.
