Creamy chocolate custard...Mmmm! This recipe makes me think of my mom-it's her kind of comfort food. This is another recipe that can easily be made dairy free and I've done it successfully.

sorry to say this was not good - at all. it did not set up. eventually i just ended up adding in more eggs - so as not to waste the ingredients.

mine tasted all right but it set weird- it separated into a light and a dark area. Maybe my milk wasn't hot enough? I'd accidentally frozen it beforehand so I just nuked it.

I loved this, though the kids in my family were not fans. It was bittersweet which I really enjoyed but was not sweet enough for them. Oh well, plenty more for me! I did use splenda and soymilk. Thanks for a lovely adult dessert!

Very nice. Made 1 1/2 times the recipe (using 3 eggs) for my family of 5 and we got 5 very generous servings. Not difficult to make at all and such an improvement from a boxed mix.
