Easy Flounder Au Gratin

Don't know where I got this recipe. Found it in my fish recipes on a handwritten card. I haven't tried this yet.

Ingredients

  • lbs flounder fillets
  • 1/2 cup fine breadcrumb
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper
  • Directions

    1. 1
      Combine crumbs and cheese.
    2. 2
      Mix the mayonnaise with the worcestershire sauce and coat the flounder on both sides with the mayo mixture.
    3. 3
      Now coat the fish in the crumb mixture and arrange in a single layer in a shallow baking pan.

      Bake at 375 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden.

    Easy and tastes great. I made this just as written. Next time, I would add some herbs and/or spices to just pick up the flavor a bit. Maybe tarragon and parsley and some paprika? Thanx for posting!

    I just found the same recipe minus the worcheserchire sauce, mine calls for 1 TBL dill, I have noted on mine, Hellmann's Best Foods Mayonnaise recipe, must have been a recipe on the jar.
