Bacon Wrapped Mushroom Kabobs / Kebabs

Food on a stick is great! This is our latest version for the summer BBQ.
SERVES 8
Ingredients
- 1 lb whole mushroom (button)
- 1/2 lb bacon
- 8 ounces barbecue sauce (or homemade, but we like Famous Dave's Sweet & Zesty for this)
Directions

Soak bamboo skewers 30 minutes.2
Cut bacon strips in half--they'll be just long enough to wrap around the mushroom one time.3
Wrap each mushroom with a bacon strip and thread on skewer.4
Grill on medium heat till bacon is done, basting with barbecue sauce.5
This usually takes around 10-15 minutes.6
Serve immediately.

I love food on a stick. We didn't find any Famous Dave's, so we substituted Head Country. The recipe was fast and easy to put together. Mushrooms and bacon are among our food faves, so naturally this was a hit. Thanks for the recipe, I will be making this again, and again!

Delicious and very easy! I grilled them in my electric grill so they were a bit flattened. Will certainly make these again!

Awesome. I only wish I hadn't halved the recipe. I even found the Famous Dave's bar-b-que sause and it was great. I wish I could have gotten a photo but my guest would not wait. Wonderful flavors.
