Try other Peach Oatmeal recipes

I am always trying to find ways to jazz up oatmeal so the kids will eat more. This recipe worked out well. I used fresh peaches. I sprinkled them with sugar and let them sit on the counter while measuring out the rest of everything. I made this a larger batch on the stove. Added peaches (and a little honey) towards the end of cook time. Served it with cream on top. All the kids liked it very much. Thanks for sharing. Made for ZWT4.

This was wonderful! I made this with "lite" canned peaches and sweetened with Splenda brown sugar blend. I topped this with a little cream before serving. Excellent! Made for ZWT4 team Kumquat's Kookin' Kaboodles. Thanks for sharing- ~Sue

I brought the fixings for this to work and had a sinfully good breakfast. Gosh, I love oatmeal. Added a tablespoon of nonfat dry milk powder to the oatmeal and used a bit more water to acheive my desired consistency. The dry milk gave this more of a peaches and cream flavor and came to me because of the recipe description. Thanks!

Made this for the "I recommend this recipe" game based on Longhornmama's review. And it is as good as everyone says! My new magic box cooked them faster than two minutes and they ended up parched. I added a bit more peaches and juice, cinnamon, and Splenda because I love peaches and it did need some sweetening up for me. This is something I'll be going back to again and will try with pears (another fave fruit). In the summer, I'll prob. try it with strawberries. Thanks, Luv!
