I have no idea where this recipe originated, I've been making it for years. My DH thinks it's one of those 'tough' recipe things...As you can see, EASY but tasty!

SERVES 4 (change servings and units)

Saute chicken in butter 8 to 10 minutes. Remove; set aside. Mix cornstarch and juice. Stir in 57 sauce and marmalade. Pour into skillet. Cook on low heat until thickened. Put chicken in sauce. Heat; serve on top of rice sprinkled with almonds.

Yummy-tasted like orange barb chicken. I scaled the recipe down for one & prepared as written, except I used butter spray & poured the sauce over the chicken & simmered 15 min, basting with the sauce. I also just used my generic brand steak sauce & low sugar marmalade. So quick, too!

Update: Just realized that I gave this the wrong # of stars. Trying to get used to the new Zaar format "Last night was chicken night - I had a package of BL/SL breasts & rather than freezing part of it, I made 3 different recipes. I loved this one! Made exactly as written. Easy & zippy! Will defintely make again! Thanks!"

Katie - wow!!! This is one of the most delicious chicken recipes that I have ever cooked. I followed your directions, didn't have the Heinz steak sauce so used Masterfoods Steak Sauce, juiced four oranges for the 2/3 cup, used Robertson's Orange Marmalade and added a little dash of brandy (about two teaspoons). I served Honni's Crispy Potato Bites #87378 and Rita L's French Green Beans #107639 with it.A perfect meal.
