Grilled Salmon

Recipe #115954 | 1½ hours | 1¼ hours prep | add private note

When we lived in Alaska, we would have a huge BBQ for all of our friends every summer. We would fix this grilled salmon along with grilled trout and deep fried halibut. This is our favorite way to eat salmon other than smoked. Prep time includes marinating.

Directions

  1. 1
Mix all marinade ingredients and pour over salmon. Marinate for 1 hour. Place fillets over medium hot coals.

We made this last night for guests and it went over very well. I like the seasoning very much, although I may use less salt next time. Perhaps my Cajun seasoning is saltier than others. Other than that it was very tasty and I will definitely make again. Thanks to a former Alaskan from a soon-to-be Alaskan again!

this is a very complementary marinade for salmon. I used salmon fillets and followed ingredient list using homemade emeril's essence for the cajun seasoning. Grilled steaks over charcoal. Yummy! t

Awesome recipe. I left in marinade for a couple of hours, then we cooked on a cedar plank on the grill. Wonderful!
