Beagles eat anything....but dry dog treats.... Rita (Margarite Bell Phonecia) follows me around the kitchen for these! Dogs are such little tramps! Thankyou.

I loved this recipe! More importantly, Maggie loved it! Maggie is a 1 1/2 year old Boxer with superb taste. She hasn't eaten any of the dog biscuits that we've bought before so I wasn't sure if she'd eat these, but she went crazy over them. I made them last night using some chicken stock and pan drippings from a chicken I roasted the other night. I did use more liquid- almost a full cup of stock and about 3 oz of water. I baked for 25 minutes and they came out perfect. I've already bagged a few in cute little halloween bags for my kids to give to their friends dogs. They loved them, too. I loved that the recipe didn't use anything out of the ordinary and was super easy to make. Great Job!!

My beasties thank you very much for sharing this recipe. They love these treats. I made them exactly as written with the exception that I did add a small amount of garlic powder to ward off fleas.

Eight paws up from the canine's in this house! Both were hanging around in front of the oven while these were baking, LOL. As soon as they cooled, they tried them out. The dough did not get stiff at all for me ~ actually, I needed to throw down more cornmeal to keep it from sticking and a few of the bones stretched and are kind of weird shapes. I got 28 bone-sized biscuits and probably could have gotten a few more but the dough was very sticky by this point so I went with what I had. I love that these are low in fat. Thanks for posting!
