I made these tonight and they were great. Filling but really delicate. I used 1/2 the chocolate chips and I think they would be GREAT with a dash of cinnamon in them and no chips. I baked for 10 mins and they were really crispy/chewy/rubbery like I love them.

I used wheat flour and mini chips and they turned out great. I even let my toddler have a few because they are healthy. My husband wasn't a huge fan but he's picky. They are a great bite size treat when you are craving chocolate.

First, I should say I loved these. They had a great texture and lots of chocolate and were the perfect point friendly cure for my sweet tooth. I did cut the sugar to 1/3 cup as a matter of taste and had to use 1/2 whole wheat pastry flour out of necessity. While I would not advocate for the change in flours, the sweetness of my cookies was fine. I made mine using my one teaspoon cookie dough scoop and got 38 little cookies - a bit bigger than a quarter but nice and full and plump. At that size, they were 2 for 1 point and 3 for 2 points. H Well worth a walk in the park for a couple of APs. Thanks!

My first batch was flat as a pancake but the 2nd batch I lowered the canola oil to only 1 T and it was much more to our liking--soft & higher. Also used light brown sugar instead of dark for my husband as well as nuts. Also made a batch w/white chips & macadamia for me. Mine cooked 6 min.Don't forget to ADD FLOUR & BAKING SODA TO WET INGRED. NOT IN DIRECTIONS.
