I think this sauce is better than theirs.

    Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan.

    Cook over medium heat until sauce starts to boil.

    Lower heat and simmer, covered,for 30 to 45 minutes or until it is as thick as you like it.

    Makes enough for 2 pizzas.

    Made this last night for the first time. Added a bit of chili powder, onion powder & cayenne pepper to give a little kick. DW and the 3 gremlins all really thought this sauce was great!

    I agree that this does not taste much like the Pizza Hut sauce that I am familiar with, but this is still a great sauce. I double the recipe because the big cans of sauce are more economical, then freeze the leftovers in small portions to use later. The recipe does cover two cookie sheet sized pizzas without doubling. Thanks for posting it!

    Good, easy, cheap, needed to uncover to get it to the right consistency. Next time I might cut down more on the lemon.
