What's in a name...=) This recipe is an old favorite from my Mom. She called it Chicken Chop Suey and served it with Chow Mein Noodles. I don't know the difference...hence the name. Either way, I like it!

Chow mein (from the can)has always been a favorite of mine. I chose this recipe because of the molasses! I did only add 1 tbs. which was perfect for us and omitted the cabbage. This was fabulous (my kids' first chow mein) and can't wait for the leftovers tomorrow. Thanks for posting, Aroostook! Roxygirl

This was a great flavored recipe. I too found that there was to much sauce. Next time I will reduce the amount of broth. I made a couple of changes I added garlic (I add garlic to almost everything) and I used boneless chicken breast (it was what I had on hand. Thanks my husband and 1yr old son loved it!
