Not dry at all. I used 24oz of 4% cottage cheese and added 1t onion powder, dry mustard & white pepper. Next time I will use a little less shredded cheese.

I have to admit to being a bit skeptical about this recipe after reading all the "dry" comments. But I was pleasantly surprised. As long as you follow the stirring instructions this is a creamy and easy mac & cheese recipe. Just as good as any other I've tried and a hit with my family.

Sorry. I really wanted to like this. I added almost one cup more water because of other comments and it still was very dry. I was able to salvage it after it was cooked by adding lots of milk and more cheese so we ate it but this was not a keeper. It had a fairly good flavor. But I think the reason it is so dry is that the starch that is usually thrown away in the water when you cook the macaroni is still there. The longer it sits the drier it gets.

This recipe tasted good, a little dry, but my 7 year old liked it and he is my pickest eater. Also everyone else in the family liked it. Thank you for a easy macroni and cheese recipe. It's a keeper.
