Easy tasty side dish. I make this ahead and cook it just before serving. A nice change from potatoes.

SERVES 6 -8 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Cook noodles until tender and drain.
  2. 2
Mix all other ingredients (except paprika) in a med size bowl.
  3. 3
Add noodles and mix well (I use a pasta lifter).
  4. 4
Pour in a buttered casserole (or use Pam), sprinkle on paprika and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.

Wonderful! My one sister doesn't care for "macaroni & cheese" in any identity. When I served it, she took a small bite. Then another. Then another! Said I could have this anytime! Thnx for making a believer. The only change I made was to add just a little more garlic. Will have this again, obviously. Thnx for posting, Tebo.

What a great twist on a noodle kugel! Savory and delicious, hard to stop eating, no wonder you say 6-8 servings. I thought, no - this is more like 12, but you were right, how can you eat so little? Delicious flavor! I do believe it could be put in the oven at higher heat, for a bit longer, but otherwise, used all low fat ingredients and came up with 4WW Points per serving (for 6 servings). Served with Maple Glazed Salmon and Garlicky Brussels Sprouts Saute, and it was perfect!

Easy,Peasy as they say!! a great change from potatoes and rice. I used fat free sour cream and cottage cheese, didn't make any difference I'm sure , the taste was still there and what a taste, wonderfull!! A real keeper, thanks for sharing Tebo!! — posted Apr 21, 2002,2 members found this helpful UPDATE: September 22/04, made this for supper and used 2%plain yogurt instead of the sour cream, worked great! We had it as our main course, with garlic toast and a green salad. Great, tastey meal thanks again!!

Great side dish. Super quick to prepare and not too cheesy and oily. Enjoyed this heaps. Thanks for the recipe, good comfort food.
