This was a quick easy casserole that turned out great. I changed it a bit by using only 6 ounces of ketchup and adding 4 ounces of bbq sauce. I also added a tablespoon of cider vinegar. It did come out a little soupy but I served it over rice and it was fantastic! Thanks for the quick easy tasty recipe! I will use it often I'm sure.

Very easy to make; nice flavor. I think when I make it again, I will reduce the liquids. It was a little to "soupy" for my taste. Otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Thanks for posting, Julie. Sue

This casserole has the potential to be an awesome 5* with some minor adjustments which I hope to try again soon. The ketchup was so overpowering that it took over the taste of everything else in the casserole. This is my plan for next time: Use black beans (1 can)and butter beans (1 can) cut the ketcup down to about 8oz. and use about 4 or 5 oz. bbq sauce as well. Also cut sugar back to 1/2 cup. Cook covered for 1 hour and uncover and cook 15 mins. I think that will make it a 5 star recipe. Time will tell. Julie thanks for giving me the basis to work with here!

This was very good and easy to make. I would change only two things: less sugar, because it was too sweet and a little less baking time after uncovering.
