I have to rate this recipe as a 2. However, since I always read the reviews first, I followed the other suggestions and added one egg and 1/4 cup of bread crumbs. I fried them slowly using cooking spray. They held together and were delicious. I no longer buy store bought, just freeze the left over patties for later.

Holy Smokes! Unlike any other veggie burger I've had. Sooooo good. I added an egg based on other reviews and although loose - the burger held together and was flippable. HIGHLY recommended.

Always on the hunt for veggie burgers without breadcrumbs in them and this fit the bill. I swiched up the timing of ingredients in the food processor. Letting the beans and oatmeal go in first for 2-3 pulses then adding the other ingredients. I think that gave me a burger that had a little more from the veggies but still enough binding together from the beans. The results were 4 rather large burgers that were just nummy — could easily have made 6 instead. I enjoyed that the flavors on these were a bit more neutral than some others as it lent it to each person being able to add toppings to suit their tastes. This will become a staple for me.

These were soooo good. I left out the ketchup (just forgot it really) and still thought these were excellent. I put the shredding blade on my food processor and did the carrots into the bowl. Then I switched to the regular blade and added the other ingredients. I chopped them, but not finely. Then I put it all in the fridge and pulled out what I needed. I had doubled the recipe and it worked fine. I loved being able to broil them, though I did turn them over to try to get both sides a bit crunchy. Really good and easy homemade veggie burger.
