20 Minute Creamy Pesto Chicken and Bowties

A stovetop dinner prepped, cooked and on the table in twenty. Serve with a tossed salad or veggie and warm bread for a complete meal.

Directions

    Boil water for pasta; cook and drain.

    Meanwhile, in a skillet, melt butter or margarine and brown cubed chicken.
  3. 3
    Add soup, pesto sauce and milk to skillet; bring to a boil and cook on low for about 5 minutes.

    Stir in pasta and heat through.

    I also used low fat soup, 2% milk, and used garlic when I was browning the chicken. This was really good and simple. Thank you!

    I followed this exactly as directed (even used the Classico Pesto). At first I found it to be rather bland, but once it cooled down, the flavours really came out. I enjoyed it much more semi-cold (I assume because the flavours got to meld together). I bet this would be amazing the second day! My DH says a definite keeper. I'll make this again but I'll make it ahead, then reheat.

    This was very good! Even my picky kids told me I need to make this again! I it exactly as the recipe stated . . . next time, I'll add 1 tsp. of minced garlic for added flavor. Very easy!! Thank you!
