Breakfast Mock Cinnabon (low Carb)

Recipe #103562 | 3 min | 3 min prep | add private note

This is one of my favorites on the South Beach diet. I usually eat this for breakfast or for a snack; it really satisfies my "sweet tooth". For those on South Beach, count the pecans as part of your daily nut allowance.

SERVES 1 (change servings and units)

Ingredients

Directions

  1. 1
Combine cottage cheese and sugar substitute.
  2. 2
Sprinkle with cinnamon (no limit) and top with pecan halves.

I don't think we'll try this again. Not as good as we had hoped. Give me some sugar-free jam on cottage cheese over this any time. Sorry.

I have been eating this for years while on Weight Watchers. For a treat, you can add 1/2 chopped apple - allowed in SBD Phase 2 or 3.
