Easy Apple Cobbler

    Put apples in the bottom of a lightly greased 8x8 inch baking dish.

    Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon and egg until it looks like coarse cornmeal.

    Sprinkle topping over the apples.
  4. 4
    Pour melted butter over the entire dish.
  5. 5
    Bake 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  6. 6
    Serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.

I only gave it 4 stars because I like my cobbler sweeter. But my hubby on the other hand is a tart man and he just thought this was the best! Perfect for him and it made my house smell quite nice. SUPER E-Z TOO, and that is always a bonus to any recipe. Thanks for letting me use this one.

    I would like to recommend 2 things. First, I would cut the granulated sugar in half and then add a half cup of brown sugar. Secondly, I would take half of the sugars mixed together and toss with the apples before putting them into the baking dish. I also added a half cup of chopped walnuts for extra crunch.
